How to read the journal
Our reference indexes map the principal generations, materials and complications. They are designed for comparison, not as a claim to list every dial, gem-setting suffix or undocumented transitional example. Each study states its boundaries.
Technical history is checked against manufacturer records and documented auction examples. Prices carry their own observation or sale dates and currencies. Retail prices, asking prices, third-party market estimates and auction results are kept separate; none is a quotation for a watch held by Singapore Gold Market.
Collector judgements are our editorial assessment, not a forecast of returns. Originality, restoration, service needs, transaction costs and the price paid can matter more than the popularity of the series. Photographs illustrate identified references or source examples, not available inventory. We are independent of the manufacturers named here.
