Sell Jewellery in Singapore

High-end branded jewellery is assessed as a whole piece. Ordinary or unbranded jewellery is assessed for confirmed metal content. Share the details you know, establish the suitable approach, then arrange physical verification and a final quote.

Unknown brand, purity or net weight can be reviewed later. Box and papers are optional; no identity or bank documents are needed for the initial inquiry.

Prepare by brand

Jewellery brand assessment guides

Choose a brand for guidance on identification, condition and preparation for different pieces. Brands identify categories; acceptance and final terms still require individual review.

Unlisted or unknown brands can use the general manual assessment request. Brand names do not indicate official affiliation, authorisation or authentication. Use the general inquiry form

The valuation approach

An assessment that fits the piece

Whole-piece market value and recoverable metal value use different bases. A manual review establishes the approach before pricing; bullion references do not directly value jewellery.

High-end branded jewellery

Consider the whole piece

Identity and verification

Brand, collection, model, size and markings. Authenticity and consistency with supporting details need verification.

Condition and completeness

Wear, missing parts, resizing, alterations and repair history. Box, receipt and certificates are optional supporting details.

Market and resale potential

Verifiable comparable market information, demand and resale potential inform the whole-piece assessment. Original retail price does not determine the current purchase offer.

Ordinary or unbranded jewellery

Establish the metal content

Confirm material and purity

Assessment uses the confirmed metal type and purity. Markings are a starting point; unknown purity can be confirmed during physical review.

Separate gross and net weight

Net gold weight is confirmed for gold jewellery; net metal weight for other materials. Gross piece weight may include stones, fittings or non-precious parts.

Review stones for each piece

Stones, craftsmanship and the original purchase price are distinct from metal value. Any stone valuation or handling needs separate confirmation.

Keep jewellery with stones intact for review. Gross piece weight is different from net gold weight. Any stone valuation, handling, assessment and fee arrangements require confirmation for the individual item.

Clear photos

Front, back, clasp, markings and visible wear. You may send photos yourself in a follow-up WhatsApp conversation.

Available details

Brand, model, collection, size, box, receipt, certificates and alteration or repair history—share only what you know.

Your selling preference

An optional expected price and selling timeframe can guide the discussion. They do not confirm a price or transaction.

An initial submission records an inquiry; it does not confirm a quote or appointment. Physical assessment methods, any fees, quote validity and settlement terms are confirmed before proceeding.

Submit a jewellery sell inquiry

Share what you know and choose “Unknown” where needed. High-end branded jewellery can be reviewed as a whole piece; ordinary or unbranded jewellery is valued by metal content. The assessment path and quote are confirmed manually.

Whole item weight is different from net metal weight. Stone details help a manual review and do not confirm stone acceptance or valuation.

Questions from sellers

Jewellery assessment FAQ

Request an assessment
How are branded pieces and ordinary jewellery assessed?

High-end branded jewellery receives a manual whole-piece assessment, considering verifiable brand, model, authenticity, condition, completeness, market evidence and resale potential. Ordinary or unbranded jewellery is assessed by confirmed metal type, net metal weight and purity. The assessment route and final purchase terms are confirmed after reviewing the item.

Can I submit a piece without its box, receipt or certificate?

Yes. Start with the details you have. A box, receipt and certificates are optional supporting information; their absence does not automatically reject an inquiry. A manual review determines what else is needed and whether the item can be verified and assessed further.

What if purity, model or net metal weight is unknown?

Leave unknown details blank or select “Unknown”; there is no need to guess. Describe the item and its known condition. Markings, whole-piece photos and any available documents help an initial review. Net gold weight and purity require physical confirmation; a submitted hallmark or weight is not a verified result.

How is weight treated when jewellery contains stones or fittings?

Gross piece weight may include stones, fittings and non-precious parts, so it cannot be counted directly as net gold weight. Tell us about any stones and whether the weight is gross or a known net metal weight. Stone valuation, handling, assessment methods and any fees need item-specific confirmation. Keep the piece intact until these arrangements are agreed.

Does an online assessment lock a purchase price?

Submitted details support an initial review and suitability check; they are not a final quote or confirmed appointment. Photos do not replace physical verification. Final terms depend on the physical assessment, verifiable market information and the applicable valuation approach. Bullion reference prices do not directly value a whole jewellery piece.

How do I decide whether to proceed after the final assessment?

Review the written quote terms, including whether the offer is for the whole piece or metal content, any applicable fees, quote validity, and payment and handover arrangements. You decide whether to accept. Handover and settlement follow the agreed terms after both parties agree. Do not upload identity or bank documents with an initial inquiry.
