Singapore Gold Market · Independent Manual Assessment

Sell Cartier Jewellery in Singapore

A collection name such as LOVE or Juste un Clou is a starting point, rather than a complete description. Singapore Gold Market reviews the individual piece and available evidence. This assessment category does not guarantee acceptance, a purchase price or any official relationship with Cartier.

Cartier: details that help the review

Collection and exact configuration

Give the collection, jewellery type and full reference from an invoice or existing record, if known. Describe the metal colour, visible material markings, plain or stone-set configuration and any detachable components. Photographs should show the complete piece and its inside markings.

Size and width are separate details

Record the marked ring or bracelet size separately from band width and any measurement you take. Include the measurement unit. A size copied from an old receipt may differ from the current fit after an alteration; explain that difference instead of selecting a similar online model.

Assessment considerations

What informs the assessment

Surface, markings and completeness

Describe dents, scratches, worn markings, loose stones or missing components. Disclose personal engraving and visible wear around closures. Brand inscriptions, packaging and photographs assist the review but do not, individually, establish authenticity; identity and suitability still require verification.

Engraving, resizing and repairs

List known resizing, polishing, engraving removal, stone replacement or closure repairs, with dates and documents where available. State whether information comes from your own knowledge or a record. Do not arrange cosmetic work merely to prepare an inquiry; disclose the current condition.

Whole-piece or metal-content review

A branded whole-piece assessment considers the verified configuration, condition, supporting history and available market evidence. If a metal-content assessment is appropriate, confirmed purity and net metal weight must be separated from stones and other components. Neither route uses an automatic brand premium.

Whole-piece branded jewellery assessment differs from metal-content assessment for ordinary pieces. Brand, craftsmanship, stones and original retail price are distinct from gold content. Stone handling, the assessment route and any fees require individual agreement.

From details to an offer

Assessment and sale process

  1. 01

    Share known details

Provide contact and item details, including what you know. Unknown information can wait.

  2. 02

    Initial manual review

Review suitability, available information and the assessment arrangements for the individual item.

  3. 03

    Arrange physical checks

Agree timing, location and applicable checks, then review the physical item and supporting details.

  4. 04

    Conditional written quote

If proceeding, set out quote conditions, any fees, validity and payment arrangements.

  5. 05

    Seller acceptance and settlement

Proceed after the seller accepts the agreed arrangements. An inquiry does not complete a sale.

Prepare your Cartier inquiry

Provide only what you know; unknown details can be left blank. The brand is preselected and editable. It categorises the inquiry and does not establish authenticity.

  • Collection and full reference, or leave the reference unknown.
  • Marked size, measured width and units, recorded separately.
  • Clear overall, inside-marking and closure photographs.
  • Engraving, resizing, polishing and repair history, if known.
  • Available purchase records, packaging and loose original components.

Initial inquiries do not collect identity or bank documents, and the form has no photo upload. A successful save records the inquiry; it does not confirm an appointment, quote or sale.

You may choose to open WhatsApp and send reviewed photos or further details. Physical checks, a written quote, any fees and settlement arrangements need separate manual confirmation.

Submit a jewellery sell inquiry

Share what you know and choose “Unknown” where needed. High-end branded jewellery can be reviewed as a whole piece; ordinary or unbranded jewellery is valued by metal content. The assessment path and quote are confirmed manually.

Contact details
Item details

Whole item weight is different from net metal weight. Stone details help a manual review and do not confirm stone acceptance or valuation.

Valuation preference and provenance (optional)
Additional details (all optional; expand to add)

Additional details support manual follow-up. They do not create an automatic quote or confirm an appointment or item acceptance.

Send photos later

This form does not upload photos. You may send front/back, hallmark and box/receipt photos yourself in WhatsApp. Please do not send identity or bank documents with this initial inquiry.

Submission records support inquiry follow-up. Item acceptance, valuation basis, inspection methods and fees, stone or component handling, payment terms and appointments require manual confirmation.

Cartier assessment questions

Request an assessment
Is bracelet size the same as its width?

No. Record the size marking and band width separately. Add a measured dimension only with its unit, and flag any uncertainty for manual review.

Can I submit an engraved or resized ring?

You may submit its details. Describe the engraving or resizing and provide records if available. An inquiry does not establish acceptance or a particular value.

Do a Cartier inscription and box confirm authenticity?

They are supporting details, not a conclusion. The individual piece, reference, configuration and provenance must be reviewed together; missing paperwork can be declared unknown.

These public references can help explain models or related information. They do not endorse our buyback service or establish the authenticity of your item.
