Golden Credit is registered as a precious stones and precious metals dealer. Ministry of Law oversight is limited to anti-money laundering, countering terrorism financing and countering proliferation financing (AML/CFT/CPF).

MinLaw registration scope

SPF secondhand dealer exemption

Golden Credit holds the Singapore Police Force exemption for secondhand goods dealers. This is an exemption from licensing within its applicable scope; the relevant dealer obligations still apply.

SPF exemption framework

GIA qualification

Our professional background includes a GIA qualification. This academic credential belongs to its individual recipient; it is not accreditation of Golden Credit or a laboratory report for a particular item.

GIA credential guidance

The links explain the relevant frameworks and credential scope. Each item is assessed through its own checks and written terms.

Start with the right assessment for your item

For gold bars and coins, begin with the brand, weight, fineness and specific availability. To sell gold, silver, platinum or palladium, share the known material and weight. Branded jewellery can be reviewed as a whole piece; ordinary jewellery is assessed for metal content. Watches need their own model, condition, service and box-and-paper details. Leave uncertain details marked as unknown.

Agree the arrangements before deciding on an offer

At first contact, tell us whether you are buying or selling, the item type, known details and preferred timing. For assessment preparation, use WhatsApp to share clear front, back and hallmark or reference photographs, with details of any reports, boxes, papers and service records. Confirm item suitability, the contact person, time and location before visiting. Identity and bank documents are not needed for an initial enquiry.

A final written purchase offer states its expiry and the net amount payable after agreed charges. We explain the scope and cost of any additional paid work and obtain your written agreement first; you can choose not to sell.

How to read this website

Sources, editorial notes and imagery

This website brings together enquiry preparation guides, external product records and market references. Each has a different purpose. Use the page’s source notes alongside the details of the individual item.

Service guides and external references

Our guides organise information useful for an enquiry: weight and fineness, the exact reference, condition, service history and accompanying documents. Brand guides link to official references for collection and configuration details; watch catalogue entries retain the relevant product or historical record sources. These describe the item in that source, without establishing our ownership of it or a brand authorisation or partnership.

A guide’s review date applies to its explanatory content. For news, check the original publisher, publication time and source link, and distinguish the source’s reporting from the site’s summary.

Reference photographs and illustrations

Brand and catalogue photographs help identify designs or illustrate a source record. Brand photographs on buyback pages show representative designs, rather than customer submissions or available stock. Gold images may illustrate a representative format; confirm the exact weight, packaging and photographs of the actual item during your enquiry.

The generic illustrative service scenes are AI-generated and help explain service contexts. They do not depict our actual premises, staff, inventory or inspected customer items. Some watch presentation images use a silk background based on source photographs. Where retained in a gallery, source photographs are labelled separately; some entries have presentation images only, with external source records linked. Some generic bullion photographs come from Wikimedia Commons; their authors and recorded licences are listed in the image credits.

Market times and transaction records

The price page shows indicative SGD prices for the listed sizes, with trade direction and the source quote time. The records page stores price-feed snapshots: retrieval time differs from the source’s quote time, and these records are not customer transactions or completed-sale examples. Bullion references do not directly value a whole jewellery piece or watch.

The fixed snapshot published with the price page separately labels the source price time, feed retrieval and page capture time; it is dated historical material. The gold specification catalogue helps identify products. Availability reported by a source still needs confirmation with us and does not establish our own stock or a current offer.

Ask about or correct a page

If a reference, image description, citation or business detail needs checking, use our contact page to share the page URL, the specific detail and a supporting source where available. For a purchase, identify the item you want to confirm. For a sale, share what you know and leave uncertain details open. Personal identity documents, bank information and other customers’ private details are not needed for a correction request.
