Transaction Process

Transaction Safety and Data Handling

Understand precious metals, jewellery and watch inquiries, checks before physical assessment, and customer data handling. Appointments, final quotes, assessment methods, and payment arrangements require separate agreement. This page is not legal advice.

Golden Credit

Registration and professional qualifications

MinLaw registration

Golden Credit is registered as a precious stones and precious metals dealer. Ministry of Law oversight is limited to anti-money laundering, countering terrorism financing and countering proliferation financing (AML/CFT/CPF).

MinLaw registration scope

SPF secondhand dealer exemption

Golden Credit holds the Singapore Police Force exemption for secondhand goods dealers. This is an exemption from licensing within its applicable scope; the relevant dealer obligations still apply.

SPF exemption framework

GIA qualification

Our professional background includes a GIA qualification. This academic credential belongs to its individual recipient; it is not accreditation of Golden Credit or a laboratory report for a particular item.

GIA credential guidance

The links explain the relevant frameworks and credential scope. Each item is assessed through its own checks and written terms.

Checks when required

Any identity or transaction-context checks for a formal transaction are explained separately. Initial inquiries do not need identity or bank documents.

Confirm quote and handover

Before handing over items, confirm the counterparty, checks, applicable fees, quote validity, and payment arrangements.

Keep written arrangements

Keep the agreed appointment, final quote, and payment evidence. Confirm any required transaction record or invoice details separately.

Inquiries and later checks

Initial inquiries need contact and item details. Any identity, payment, or transaction-context checks for a formal transaction are explained separately. Do not upload identity or bank documents in the initial form.

Free basic assessment

Photo screening and our basic purchase assessment are free, with no obligation to sell. Additional paid work requires your prior written agreement. A basic assessment does not automatically include an independent laboratory report.

Written quotes and expiry

A photo-based reference range is for reference for 48 hours after issue, subject to the physical item and necessary checks. Final gold offers based on metal content normally remain valid for 30 minutes; whole-piece jewellery and watch offers for 24 hours. Silver, platinum and palladium offer periods are agreed in writing. Each quotation identifies the assessment route, valuation basis, agreed charges, net amount payable and exact expiry in Singapore time. The stated written expiry governs, and item condition, accessories and material facts must remain unchanged. A quote does not reserve stock unless a separate holding arrangement is confirmed.

Payment and actual receipt

After acceptance, required verification and signing, company payment is made to the verified seller's own account under the written terms. Our target is the same day, normally within one working day; this is a service target, not a guaranteed receipt time. The payment deadline and any conditions are written into the transaction record, and bank delays are communicated. A payment screenshot is not proof that funds have cleared. Handover and transfer of ownership follow the written agreement.

Customer data protection

Identity, ownership, payment and assessment information supports the transaction and applicable requirements, with access limited to authorised people who need it. Purposes and retention are explained before collection. Marketing and customer stories need separate optional permission; declining publicity does not affect basic service.

Business boundary

This website describes physical gold trading and precious metals, jewellery and watch buyback inquiries. It does not offer lending, pawnbroking, pooled funds, gold accounts, or yield products.

Prepare the next step for your transaction

For a gold purchase, first check the specifications and availability. To sell an item, gather the details you know. Watch purchases have a separate enquiry route; preferences still need confirmation against a specific piece and agreed arrangements.

Official transaction and consumer references

These official sources explain the relevant framework. The checks and consumer rights applicable to an individual transaction depend on its circumstances.

Important notice

This website provides physical gold trading, gold, silver, platinum, palladium and jewellery buyback inquiries, and manual watch assessment requests. It does not provide financial or investment advice. Gold references and bullion estimates do not price other metals, whole jewellery pieces or watches. Item suitability, final quote, checks, fees and payment arrangements require agreement after physical assessment.
