Sell Cartier Watches in Singapore

Tank, Santos de Cartier and Ballon Bleu names describe families rather than one uniform watch. Size labels, movement types and materials can differ. This guide concerns watches; Cartier jewellery follows the separate jewellery assessment route.

Identify the item

Cartier: details that help the review

Reference and actual dimensions

Use the reference on available paperwork and the family name. Include known case dimensions, especially for shaped watches, instead of relying only on 'small', 'medium' or 'large'. Those descriptions should be linked to the actual reference.

Movement, material and fitted bracelet

State whether the movement is quartz, manually wound, automatic or unknown. Describe the stated case material, dial and fitted bracelet or strap. Cartier's Santos listings include different movement and material configurations; appearance alone should not decide these details.

Assessment considerations

What informs the assessment

Shaped case and visible details

Show case sides, corners, bezel, crown and crystal. On Santos, photograph the visible screw details and bracelet condition. Note worn surfaces, dents or polishing, but do not tighten decorative screws or dismantle anything for an inquiry.

Factory configuration and gem changes

Disclose known added diamonds, changed dials, replaced crowns or a different bracelet. Describe factory-set status only if supported by your records; unfamiliar stones or modifications remain questions for the individual review.

Running and service information

Mention a stopped watch, battery work, winding concerns or other known service. Do not assume that every stopped Cartier needs only a battery, or replace a battery or movement solely to improve an inquiry description.

Gold colour and total watch weight do not establish net precious-metal content. Gold product references do not automatically price a watch; a watch containing precious metal still needs agreement on the assessment route.

From details to an offer

Assessment and sale process

  1. 01

    Share known details

Provide contact and item details, including what you know. Unknown information can wait.

  2. 02

    Initial manual review

Review suitability, available information and the assessment arrangements for the individual item.

  3. 03

    Arrange physical checks

Agree timing, location and applicable checks, then review the physical item and supporting details.

  4. 04

    Conditional written quote

If proceeding, set out quote conditions, any fees, validity and payment arrangements.

  5. 05

    Seller acceptance and settlement

Proceed after the seller accepts the agreed arrangements. An inquiry does not complete a sale.

Prepare your Cartier inquiry

Provide only what you know; unknown details can be left blank. The brand is preselected and editable. It categorises the inquiry and does not establish authenticity.

  • Watch family, reference, size and movement type, if known.
  • Material and dial description; distinguish knowledge from assumptions.
  • Case, crown, bracelet and clasp photos with full serial details obscured.
  • Box, records, spare straps and removed links actually included.
  • Known battery work, polishing, replaced parts or added stones.

Initial inquiries do not collect identity or bank documents, and the form has no photo upload. A successful save records the inquiry; it does not confirm an appointment, quote or sale.

You may choose to open WhatsApp and send reviewed photos or further details. Physical checks, a written quote, any fees and settlement arrangements need separate manual confirmation.

Submit a watch sell inquiry

Share the watch details you know; optional information may be left blank or marked unknown. Watches go to a manual review first. Brand eligibility and final assessment rules require confirmation. Gold watches are not automatically priced by metal weight.

Contact details
Item details

Box or warranty papers are not required to submit. Watches go to manual review; final assessment rules, item acceptance and pricing require confirmation. No automatic metal-weight calculation applies.

Additional details (all optional; expand to add)

Additional details support manual follow-up. They do not create an automatic quote or confirm an appointment or item acceptance.

Send photos later

This form does not upload photos. You may send dial, case-back and box/paper photos yourself in WhatsApp. Please do not send identity or bank documents with this initial inquiry.

Submission records support inquiry follow-up. Item acceptance, valuation basis, inspection methods and fees, stone or component handling, payment terms and appointments require manual confirmation.

Cartier assessment questions

Request an assessment
Is 'large Santos' a complete model description?

No. Add the reference, dimensions, material and movement when known. If you cannot identify them, describe the watch rather than choosing a nearby online model.

My Cartier has stopped. Should I call it a battery issue?

Only state a diagnosis already established by service records. Otherwise describe that it has stopped and whether the movement type is known; quartz and mechanical watches need different questions.

How do I describe diamonds added after purchase?

List them as a known alteration and retain any work record. Do not describe later gem-setting as factory-set or assume it will receive a separate valuation.

Official brand references

These public references can help explain models or related information. They do not endorse our buyback service or establish the authenticity of your item.
